Davis has won three straight games at home, while Bountiful has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Darts will welcome the Redhawks at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bountiful's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Davis hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Darts' pitcher stepped up to hand Weber a 15-0 shutout on Friday.
Jewel Korth was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Cambell Christensen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Davis hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in seven consecutive contests.
Bountiful came out on top against Alta on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fourth inning. The Redhawks blew past the Hawks 11-1.
Dylan Carpenter made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Peyton Orchard was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Rasmussen, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Bountiful's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Davis, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Davis has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .495. However, it's not like Bountiful struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Davis got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Bountiful by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Darts repeat their success, or do the Redhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
