In what's become a running theme this season, the Hoehne Farmers gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 67-6 win over Swallows Charter Academy. The victory was familiar territory for Hoehne who now have seven in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hoehne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Janae Ramos, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Braylee Foster, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Hoehne pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their 11th straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 46.09 points. As for Swallows Charter Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoehne will challenge Rocky Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Ford will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Hoehne is ranked 69th). Swallows Charter Academy on the road again on Tuesday and play against Walsenburg at 4:30 p.m. on January 30th. Walsenburg comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
