Bowie waltzed into their contest on Saturday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the St. Michael's Warriors 59-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted since January 28th.

Bowie's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for St. Michael's, they moved to 13-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowie will square off against Weiss at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Wolves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 72.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Michael's, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Thomas Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on the 19th.
