It was a good run, but Sandhills/Thedford unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Coyotes earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Emma Ray paced Sandhills/Thedford's offense, picking up seven kills. Ray got some help from Grace Johnston and her 13 assists.

Sandhills/Thedford's loss dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Anselmo-Merna, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season.

Sandhills/Thedford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anselmo-Merna, they will venture away from home to take on Brady on Friday.
