Laguna Beach has gone a perfect 3-0 against Esperanza recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Laguna Beach Breakers will be taking part in a tournament against the Esperanza Aztecs at 3:00 p.m. Laguna Beach is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
Laguna Beach's tournament run continued when they took on Calvary Chapel on Thursday. Laguna Beach walked away with a 7-3 victory over Calvary Chapel.
Laguna Beach got a great performance from Jake Martinez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Lincoln Adams was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Becker Sybirski, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Laguna Beach kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Esperanza sidestepped Valley Christian for a 5-4 win.
River Sanchez tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Grady Warner, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double. Adam Tway was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
The victory got Esperanza back to even at 1-1. As for Laguna Beach, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Laguna Beach skirted past Esperanza 3-2 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Does Laguna Beach have another victory up their sleeve, or will Esperanza turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
