Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Sacramento Country Day's Fifth in Last Six Outings

If Western Sierra Collegiate Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Sacramento Country Day, they should've done a better job of containing Aric Reuben. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves on Tuesday thanks in part to Reuben, who had 13 digs and two aces. He is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

While Sacramento Country Day won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 31-29, 25-20.

Sacramento Country Day is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Sacramento Country Day and Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will both be playing Faith Christian the next time they take the court. The Wolves will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cavaliers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
