Lincoln Sigmund turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Pike is 4-2 when Sigmund allows three or fewer earned runs, but 2-3 otherwise.

Even though Sigmund couldn't lead Pike over North Central, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 149 places lower in Indiana), but they're not letting that get them down.
