Basketball Recap: Alma's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Alma won the last time they faced Superior and Tucker Biskup did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cardinals simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Wildcats 67-32 thanks in part to Biskup, who went 12-for-15 en route to 31 points. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Zavier Mitchell, who shot 46% from the field to rack up 16 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last four times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Superior lost, don't look at Jaren Gilbert. Despite the final result, he posted 11 points.

The victory (which was Alma's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points over those games. As for Superior, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alma will face off against Norton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' defense better be ready for this one: the Bluejays have averaged an impressive 55.2 points per game this season. As for Superior, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fillmore Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
