After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Bernard's, the Trinity Wolves were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They managed a 52-46 victory over Fall River. This was payback for Trinity, who suffered a 52-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chloe Albiez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kloe Kist, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Darcie Range, who scored six points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Range is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. Reese Cassity was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Trinity is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Fall River, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-10.
