Kevin Stubblefield was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Anderson, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Omaha South's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Westview, falling 71-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Omaha South has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Omaha Westside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Omaha South, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Everything went Omaha Westside's way against Omaha South in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 as Omaha Westside made off with a 86-64 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Omaha South's Jo Foard, who scored 19 points.
