The Lawrence Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over Black River. The victory was just what Lawrence needed coming off of a 75-42 defeat in their prior game.
Lawrence's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alex Gardner, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gardner has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben McCaw, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Lawrence's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Black River, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence will take on Bangor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lawrence focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Monday. As for Black River, they will be playing at home against Coloma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
