The Butler Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Westside 77-10 on the road. Butler has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season.
Butler was led to victory by Brayla Harris and Karen Nimo. Harris scored 21 points along with seven steals and six assists, while Nimo almost dropped a triple-double on 27 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. Harris has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 13 times she's played. Taylor Kelly was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Butler pushed their record up to 10-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Westside, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Butler won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Campbell at 11:00 a.m. on January 13th. As for Westside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Laney is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
