Morse strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 60-54 W against the Mar Vista Mariners. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mariners, too.

Leading Morse to victory were Camaron Wright and Jaden Irasusta. Wright posted ten points along with six boards and four steals, while Irasusta scored 15 points. Irasusta is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Perez, who earned four points.

Despite the loss, Mar Vista still got an impressive performance from Jahaziel 'Jah' Catano, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Braylon ?Cheetah? Shumate, who put up 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Morse's record is now 5-0. As for Mar Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Morse will host Santana at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mar Vista, they will venture away from home to challenge High Tech SD at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mariners' defense better be ready for this one: the Storm have averaged an impressive 57.8 points per game this season.
