Noblesville is a perfect 10-0 against Zionsville since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Millers will challenge the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Noblesville 4, Zionsville 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Noblesville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Fishers get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. The Millers haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
The result came thanks to Addison Retzinger's shutout, as she gave up just two hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brookelyn Grayson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one stolen base. Those three doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Schatko, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Noblesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fishers only posted a batting average of .087.
Meanwhile, Zionsville got the win against Carmel on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Leah Helton was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Sylvia Mudis was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Hadley Bray was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.
Zionsville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Noblesville, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.
Thursday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Noblesville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. However, it's not like Zionsville struggles in that department as they've averaged .343. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Noblesville skirted past Zionsville 5-4 when the teams last played on Thursday. Will the Millers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
