Carlisle lost against Miller School of Albemarle back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chiefs came up short against the Mavericks, falling 15-8. Even though they lost, the Chiefs' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.4 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Carlisle dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will square off against Blue Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Miller School of Albemarle, they will challenge Cape Henry Collegiate at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mavericks 3.2, the Dolphins 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
