Immanuel dropped down to 5-4 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a 66-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lemoore Tigers. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in December of 2024.

As for Lemoore, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games.

Lemoore's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Young, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 18 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaimeir Campbell, who went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points and seven rebounds.

Looking ahead, Immanuel will head out to face off against Merced at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Lemoore, they will challenge Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 70.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
