St. Mary has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Northern Michigan Christian Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, St. Mary didn't have too much trouble with Mesick at home as they won 49-35.
Meanwhile, Northern Michigan Christian beat Pine River Area 55-46 on Tuesday.
St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Northern Michigan Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
St. Mary beat Northern Michigan Christian 59-52 when the teams last played back in February of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Mary since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
