St. Augustine Prep's Calvin Cass recorded the longest rushing play in Cape-Atlantic - National this season in his game against Ocean City last week. Cass ran for 87 yards on the play and finished with 265 on the day as his team defeated the Raiders.
St. Augustine Prep extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Ocean City, 49-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Alex Hughes put up the best numbers through the air as the Hermits topped Kevin Smith's team. He had a total of three completions for 38 yards.
St. Augustine Prep's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hermits feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hughes has thrown for 475 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Austin Francisco has 10 catches for 191 yards. Cass leads the league in rushing with 905 yards.
A big matchup in Cape-Atlantic - National this week will be when Bridgeton takes on Buena. At the moment, the Bulldogs are in fifth, while the Chiefs are in third.
Middle Township moved up to 228 from 274 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Panthers were able to make the jump by beating Vineland 36-6.
