Softball Recap: Melrose-Mindoro Plays to a Tie

Neither the Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs nor the Cashton Eagles could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Opal Buchanan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.
