The Tome Titans will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Providence Christian Academy Griffins at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Tome was able to grind out a solid win over Aquinas Academy, taking the game 51-38. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tome.
Tome's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Griffith, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Herold Beljour Jr., who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Providence Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 66-52 win over Avon Grove Charter on Friday.
Tome's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Providence Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Everything came up roses for Tome against Providence Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 69-36 victory. Will Tome repeat their success, or does Providence Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
