Given Enterprise's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while University Prep is ranked 450th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

When it comes to explaining why University Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Devin Huegel. Despite the final result, he scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals.
