The Lincoln Park Railsplitters''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Carlson 45-13. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lincoln Park in their matchups with Carlson: they've now lost eight in a row.
Izaiah Wright continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carlson, rushing for 209 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Wright was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
Lincoln Park's loss was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. As for Carlson, the victory was the eighth in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Lincoln Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Carlson has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
