The McDermitt Bulldogs can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 59-19 victory over Lund. Winning may never get old, but McDermitt sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Leading McDermitt to victory were Kiarra Crutcher and Alexis Scott. Crutcher scored 13 points, while Scott scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reign Crutcher, who scored eight points.
McDermitt's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Lund, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDermitt will challenge Jackpot at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Jackpot comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Lund, they will head out on the road to challenge Carlin at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
