The Corinth Christian Academy Warriors were the 52-43 winner over Northside Christian Academy when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Corinth Christian Academy fell just short of Northside Christian Academy by a score of 47-44.
Alden Hughes and Justin Fowler certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Hughes scored 14 points along with 3 steals, while Fowler scored 13 points. The matchup was Hughes' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Haigen Johnson, who scored 4 points along with 5 assists.
Corinth Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Northside Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Corinth Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Westwood Christian at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Westwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday. Northside Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 11th. Hope Christian Academy is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
