Isaiah Gibson was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 15 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kareem Anderson, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, John Paul II Catholic came up short against Coastal Christian on Tuesday and fell 64-52.
Cape Fear Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for John Paul II Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Everything went Cape Fear Academy's way against John Paul II Catholic when the teams last played back in December of 2022 as Cape Fear Academy made off with a 60-39 victory.
