There's no place like home for Doniphan-Trumbull, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Giltner Hornets on Tuesday. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Doniphan-Trumbull took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Charlee Richter paced Doniphan-Trumbull's offense, picking up nine kills. Richter got some help from Laini Rath and her ten assists. Baylee Larson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Doniphan-Trumbull's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Giltner, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9.

Coincidentally, Doniphan-Trumbull and Giltner will both be playing H&H the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
