Noxapater got their first taste of in-conference action on Thursday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against the McAdams Bulldogs as Noxapater made off with a 23-3 win. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Kenzie Harrell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Harrell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Karlee Sullivan was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Corabella Papalambros was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Noxapater's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for McAdams, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noxapater will take on Northeast Lauderdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McAdams, they will head out to challenge Holmes County Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
