Northside was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Spencer on Tuesday. The Patriots' defense stepped up to hand the Greenwave a 26-0 shutout. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 26 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Whitley Sikes, who threw for 203 yards and three TDs.

Northside is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.6 points on average over those games. As for Spencer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Northside and Spencer will both be playing Carver the next time they take the field. The Greenwave will head out to face the Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
