Fairfax took a serious blow against Hamilton on Monday, falling 78-13. Having soared to a lofty 63 points in the game before, Fairfax couldn't push the score so high this time.
Despite the loss, Fairfax saw an underclassman step up: Alyssa McKenzie scored 6 points along with 9 rebounds. McKenzie scored a full 46.2% of Fairfax's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Fairfax now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Hamilton, they have yet to lose a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-1 record.
Fairfax will square off against Los Angeles CES at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hamilton, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Westchester at 4:30 p.m. Westchester has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 321 points over their last five contests.
