Colts Neck's Anthony Gargiulo rumbled for the longest rushing play in Shore - North A this season in his game against Neptune last week. Gargiulo scampered for 78 yards on the play and finished with 287 on the day as his team bested the Scarlet Fliers.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Manalapan beat Brick Memorial 14-13. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Connor McGlynn threw for 286 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 19-33 with 2 interceptions.
Gargiulo was a beast in the backfield as Colts Neck bested Neptune.
McGlynn put up the best numbers through the air as Howell beat Hillsborough. McGlynn's favorite target this week was John Demarco, who caught 4 passes for 73 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Rebels' McGlynn and Joey Schultz have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback McGlynn has thrown for 2,020 yards this season, while Schultz has 43 catches for 751 yards. Gargiulo from Greg Lacava's team leads the league in rushing with 1,382 yards.
The Cougars took down Mark Ciccotelli's team 35-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Gargiulo ran for 287 yards during the win.
