Hoopa Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ivy Lamebear, who scored 19 points along with 6 steals, and Tashee Tracy who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 blocks. Tracy scored a full 32.7% of Hoopa Valley's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Maggie Morris was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 3 steals.
Hoopa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Arcata, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Hoopa Valley will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Willits at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Arcata, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McKinleyville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
