Simms added to the longest winning streak in Northern C (8 Man) this week by beating Powder River County, 83-58. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Tigers.
Simms led the league in scoring this week after putting up 83 points on the Hawks.
Power/Dutton-Brady's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kyle Schmidt threw for 185 and 3 touchdowns and Austin Storle had 50 yards receiving. On the ground Schmidt contributed 45 yards. Isaiah Dunk helped Power/Dutton-Brady's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 55 yards.
He went 19-40 with 5 interceptions.
Schmidt was the best running back in the league this week. In 10 carries, he ran for 45 yards as the Titans fell to Wibaux. Teammate Seth Kitchin added to the ground attack by rushing for 15 yards.
Power/Dutton-Brady's Schmidt and Dunk led Northern C (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Schmidt has thrown for 2,058 yards this season, while Dunk has 46 catches for 990 yards. Chinook's Zach Molyneaux leads the league in rushing yards with 1,803.
So far this year, he has acheived 46 catches for 990 yards.
Belt made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 254 from 334. The improvement was largely due to a 72-6 victory over Fairview last week.
