Notus extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Derrick Huter. The Pirates came out on top against the Greenleaf Friends Academy Grizzlies by a score of 61-51 on Monday with plenty of help from Huter, who went 7-for-10 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Caleb Cudaback, who posted 15 points and seven boards. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 15 points.

Notus' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Greenleaf Friends Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notus won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenleaf Friends Academy, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Garden Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
