Football Recap: Tishaun Kearney's Menacing Defense Leads Mesa Ridge over Falcon

Mesa Ridge won the last time they faced Falcon and things went their way on Friday too. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 32-6 margin over the Falcons. Considering the Grizzlies have won four games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mesa Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Tishaun Kearney led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Aiden Haus has become a key player for Mesa Ridge: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one interception, but 3-4 otherwise. Haus got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mesa Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.2 points over those games. As for Falcon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Mesa Ridge will challenge Loveland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Falcon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
