Throwing, Martinez struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Stewart struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Martinez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Martinez went 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while Stewart went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one double. Those four hits gave Martinez a new career-high.

Glenns Ferry always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .529 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Malad got the win against West Side on Wednesday by a conclusive 15-0.
Riglee Peterson made a splash while hitting and pitching. Peterson was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Glenns Ferry has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 9.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Malad struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Glenns Ferry might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Malad in their previous meeting back in April of 2022. Will the Pilots have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
