Bishop Watterson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack McCoy, who picked up 70 receiving yards and one touchdown. McCoy's longest reception was for an incredible 70 yards. Ben Uhlenhake was in the mix as well, providing Bishop Watterson with one score.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Bishop Watterson's defense and their four sacks. Tippecanoe's QB won't forget Michael Boyle anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Bishop Watterson received some extra help from Uhlenhake, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Bishop Watterson's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Tippecanoe, their loss dropped their record down to 13-1.
Looking ahead, Bishop Watterson will face off against Central Catholic at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fighting Irish will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Tippecanoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
