Concord had a senior duo take command as CHAR'RESE BREVEARD rushed for 114 yards and four TDs and DEREK GOMEZ gained 224 total yards. GOMEZ showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 59 yards. Another player making a difference was BO BRUNNER, who rushed for 85 yards and one score.
Concord was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 365 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 161 rushing yards in 17 consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, while Lafayette Jefferson put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Kokomo. The Bronchos breezed past the Wildkats to the tune of 57-0. Given the Bronchos' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Wildkats are ranked 150th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
A big part of Lafayette Jefferson's win came down to the chemistry between Trysten Barrett and his top target Darrontae Harris. Barrett threw for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 passes while Harris gained 80 total yards and two touchdowns.

Lafayette Jefferson received some extra help from Aaden Aytch, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
