Cole Branson and Miguel Hudson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Bowling Green. The longest such play in Eastern Missouri this season, the connection resulted in 54 yards.
Clopton/Elsberry moved up to 292 from 331 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Hawks were able to move up by beating Principia 36-22.
North Callaway's dynamic duo of Branson and Hudson proved tough for the Bobcats to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Branson threw for 358 yards and 5 touchdowns and Hudson had 177 yards receiving. Justin Menard helped North Callaway's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 67 yards.

Hudson was the best receiver in the league this week as North Callaway fell to Jimmy Tucker's team.

Jack Hicks was the best running back in Eastern Missouri this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 201 yards as Clopton/Elsberry fell to Bowling Green. Devin Linton also contributed to the rushing game with 54 yards on the ground.
He was 25-44 with 2 interceptions.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, North Callaway's Branson and Hudson have proven to be a lethal combination. Branson has thrown for 679 yards this season, while Hudson, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 16 catches for 282 yards. Hicks from Mike Scheibel's team leads the league in rushing with 466 yards.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when the Thunderbirds' Hudson goes up against Montgomery County's Dylan Skeens.
Next week's game between North Callaway and the Wildcats will feature an aerial matchup as Branson tests his arm against Skeens' defensive ability.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Thunderbirds and Montgomery County face off next week.
The Bobcats are currently in second, while Wright City is in third.
The league will see a high scoring game when John Klekamp's team and North Callaway face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wildcats comes in having scored 146 this season, while the Thunderbirds have scored 74. Montgomery County scored 35 points last week as it beat Orchard Farm.
The Wildcats added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Eagles, 35-9. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
