Volleyball Recap: Grant's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Grant lost against Kingsley back in August of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Stags. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-7.

Bouwkamp Payton paced Grant's offense, picking up four kills. Payton were helped by Longcore Emma and Campbell Lauryn, who contributed four assists each.

Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 23-13-2. As for Kingsley, they pushed their record up to 33-4 with the win, which was their 25th straight at home.

Looking ahead, Grant will welcome Reed City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kingsley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Cadillac at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
