The Shadow Hills Knights had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 56-44 victory over La Quinta on Thursday. The victory was just what Shadow Hills needed coming off of a 66-42 defeat in their prior match.
Shadow Hills can attribute much of their success to Sergio Felix, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathaniel Williams, who scored 11 points.
Shadow Hills' victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for La Quinta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 14 of their last 15 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season.
Shadow Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Xavier Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Quinta, they will head out on the road to take on Palm Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Springs presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than La Quinta in California (Palm Springs is ranked 105th, while La Quinta is ranked 1047th).
