Reedley managed to slip by Edison the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pirates came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 14-7. Even though they lost, the Pirates' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Rocky Garcia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Betancourt, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Reedley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for Edison, their win bumped their record up to 3-9-1.

Reedley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-1 defeat against Hoover on the 15th. As for Edison, they have also already played their next game, a 14-1 loss against Carson on the 15th.
