Riverdale had lost five games at home, but after bumping their record up to 8-9 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Mt. Zion Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-5 back in August.

As for Mt. Zion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

For Mt. Zion's part, Sanai Grace was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Saniyah Jones was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
