It was a good run, but Jackson South Side unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bayside Academy Admirals by a score of 4-3.

Jackson South Side's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Bayside Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Jackson South Side will welcome Jackson North Side at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Bayside Academy, they will head out to face off against Mary G. Montgomery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.88 runs per game on average), something the Admirals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
