The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Propel Montour has struggled recently with 28 defeats in a row, while Propel Andrew Street will arrive with three straight wins.
Last Monday, things could have been worse for Propel Montour, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-48 loss to Beaver County Christian.
Meanwhile, Propel Andrew Street put the finishing touches on their third blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 63-34 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Propel Andrew Street has posted yet this season.
Propel Andrew Street relied on the efforts of Darryl McCullough, who scored 19 points along with eight steals, and Raymon Russell, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Russell has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Christian Terry, who scored no points along with ten assists and nine steals.
Propel Montour's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. As for Propel Andrew Street, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
