Marathon moved up to 106 from 135 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Marawood. The Red Raiders were able to make move up by defeating Crandon 36-0.
Edgar extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Wabeno/Laona, 56-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Wildcats.
Stratford's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drew Spaeth threw for 61 and two touchdowns and Eli Temanson had 56 yards receiving. On the ground Travis Urlaub chipped in 86 yards. Joe Franklin helped Stratford's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Marathon's Collin Seubert and Vince Dinkel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Seubert has thrown for 1621 yards this season, while Dinkel has 35 catches for 716 yards. Urlaub from the Tigers leads the league in rushing with 807 yards.
Edgar took down the Logrollers 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
