The Windsor Forest Knights pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 63-55 to Tattnall County. Windsor Forest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Tattnall County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Windsor Forest's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Page, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Troy Smith, who scored 14 points.
Windsor Forest bumped their record down to 8-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tattnall County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Forest will take on Pierce County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tattnall County won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bryan County at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th. Bryan County is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
