Ralston Valley has won four straight games at home, while Arvada West has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Mustangs will challenge the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Ralston Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups.
On Thursday, Ralston Valley was fully in charge, breezing past Denver East 48-7. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Logan Gabler went supernova, throwing for 238 yards and five TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 88 yards on only nine carries. Those 88 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Ralston Valley's leading receiver Nico Benallo was Gabler's top target yet again, picking up 134 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ralston Valley was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 201 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Arvada West hadn't done well against Chatfield recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Wildcats made off with a 28-27 win over the Chargers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Wildcats' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked seventh, while the Chargers are ranked 43rd).
The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Logan Duhachek and Cash Williams. Duhachek had a solid game and threw for 192 yards and one TD. Meanwhile, Williams was balling out in the loss, throwing for 200 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 67 yards.
Arvada West's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Ralston Valley, their win bumped their record up to an identical 9-0.
Ralston Valley beat Arvada West 24-12 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Wildcats' Keegen Balistreri, who picked up 188 receiving yards and one score.
