Bixby is 6-1 against Owasso since August of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Spartans will head out to face off against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Bixby will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Bixby is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-17 victory over Broken Arrow. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Bixby's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carson Kirby, who threw for 187 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards Kirby has posted since back in October. Another player making a difference was Jack Gill, who rushed for 70 yards and three TDs.
Meanwhile, Owasso faced Jenks in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rams skirted past the Trojans 39-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since November 29, 2024.
Owasso's win came from a few key players Bixby will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jayden Hall, who rushed for 101 yards and a pair of scores, and also caught one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Drew Frankenfield was another key player, rushing for 57 yards and one TD on only seven carries.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Owasso, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cole Campbell, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Owasso's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Bixby, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
Everything came up roses for Bixby against Owasso in their previous matchup back in August, as the team secured a 49-21 win. In that contest, the Spartans amassed a halftime lead of 28-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
