Faith Baptist Christian Academy suffered their closest loss since November 17, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Southside Christian Patriots by a score of 64-62. Even though they lost, the Crusaders' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.2 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Despite the defeat, Faith Baptist Christian Academy had strong showings from Angel Santiago, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals, and Aidan Massey, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. Santiago is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Boyd, who posted ten points.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Southside Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Faith Baptist Christian Academy will take on Alleluia Community in a tournament on Friday. As for Southside Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Memorial Day at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
