Brunswick was led to victory by Craig Battle and Heze Kent. Battle scored 12 points along with 4 steals, while Kent dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was Kent's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Butler, who scored 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Richmond Hill lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan David. Despite the final result, he scored 9 points.
Brunswick's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Richmond Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Brunswick will head out on the road to face off against Glynn Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Richmond Hill, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Statesboro at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Statesboro's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
